Susana's Studio features Susana Woloson and her art including music, crafts and writing. This first section is focused on her music.

Susana Woloson -- Music

Learning piano at a young age, Susana embarked on a lifelong love of music and performing.her musical life took a new turn when her father brought home a trombone for her high school band instrument. , Under her musician father's tutelage, they performed together in small and large music combos.  This culminated with performing for Pope John Paul II in Hamtramck, MI.

Susana's trombone afforded her to play in a variety of bands: concert band, marching, dixieland and church quartet(s). But her first love was always swing music.

Second Act

Susana added ukulele to her instruments which allowed her to sing and play, mostly for friends at singalongs. She then continued to grow her repertoire to include oldies and pop favorites.

After decades of playing as an instrumentalist, Susana got the opportunity to be the main vocalist with several 16-piece swing bands. She then formed a small combo where they performed her favorite standards and jazz tunes for concerts and local cable tv. 

She is excited to share her passion for music with audiences. (more to come)
